Supervised Free Ride Rules
1. Supervised free rides can be taken in addition to your scheduled weekly lesson. I.e. Free rides cannot be taken in lieu of lessons.
2. Free Rides must be scheduled with Amy ahead of time.
3. Rides may not always work into the lesson schedule; slots are first filled by lessons, then free-riders get second choice.
4. ALL RIDES ARE DIRECTLY SUPERVISED BY AMY
5. Free riders riding with a lesson must ride in the same direction of lesson-takers, observe all standard riding etiquette and must not disrupt the lesson.
6. To be eligible to take Supervised Free Rides the student must be able to tack up by themselves and walk/trot safely, as well as ring etiquette as mentioned in #5.
7. Free Rides are a privilege. The option may be taken away if students do not adhere to these guidelines.
8. The maximum time allowed for a Free Ride is 2 hours (schedule permitting), beginning when the student arrives at the barn. (the quicker you tack up before and untack after, the more riding time you will have) Sometimes Free Rides will be shorter than 2 hours, in accordance with Amy’s schedule at that day/time. (you will be notified of the time limits when you schedule)
9. Your favorite horse may or may not be available at the time you choose to ride.
10. Supervised Free Rides are $20
